History of TADANO Hydraulic Mobile Crane
1919: Masuo Tadano (founder), started a steel fabrication business at Fujitsuka-cho (Takamatsu City).
1948: TADANO Ltd. was founded in Japan, established a plant for the manufacture of cargo handling equipment.
1955: Introduced Japan’s first hydraulic truck crane.
1960: Exported first hydraulic cranes to Indonesia.
1963: Constructs head office building in Shinden-cho, Takamatsu City in Kagawa Prefecture.
1970: Introduced the Japan’s first hydraulic rough terrain crane.
1973: Establishes TADANO International (Europe) B.V. in the Netherlands, the first overseas subsidiary.
1990: Acquires the Crane and Vehicle divisions of FAUN AG, and creates FAUN GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary.
Introduces the TG-3600M truck cranes, with a maximum lifting capacity of 360 tons.
1991: Establishes TADANO FAUN GmbH, sales & marketing company in Germany.
1992: Introduced the AR series of all terrain cranes.
Establishes TADANO FAUN Holland B.V. in the Netherlands.
